Sky Blue FC of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) announced that it has entered into a Gold Club Partnership with Next Level Soccer Academy. Based in Pennington, New Jersey, Next Level Soccer Academy is a non-profit corporation that is dedicated to fostering a love of the beautiful game and helping players develop to the fullest of their potential.
“Sky Blue FC is proud to align with a club who cares for the well being of their players as much as they care about the results they get on the field.” said Matthew Berner, Sky Blue FC Clubs Manager.
Sky Blue FC is the NJ/NY representative of the NWSL and features U.S. Women’s National Team player Carli Lloyd, Canada Women’s National Team goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan; former NCAA All-Americans Erika Skroski (Rutgers) and Sarah Killion (UCLA), and 2018 NWSL Rookie of the Year Imani Dorsey.
As part of the relationship, Sky Blue FC will be hosting two NLSA Group Nights on July 12th when Sky Blue FC takes on Utah Royals, and on September 7th against the NWSL Champions, North Carolina Courage. NLSA players will receive exclusive youth player experiences throughout the match.
“Our partnership with Sky Blue FC is what we are all about: giving girls the opportunity to succeed and continuing to thrive while making the world a better place,” said Brian Thomsen, the Director of Coaching & Operations from Next Level Soccer Academy. “Having our players watch this level of soccer, with this level of accessibility, is why we are looking forward to this partnership.”
Sky Blue FC Club Partnerships are still available for the 2019 season by contacting 888-SBFC-TIX or tickets@skybluesoccer.com.
