Second schoolgirl, 15, declared missing after friend vanished nearly three days ago
A SECOND schoolgirl has been declared missing after her friend vanished nearly three days ago.
Police earlier issued an appeal to locate Lucy DeLatouche, 15, who was last seen on Chelmsford Avenue in Grimsby at around 10.30am on Tuesday.
Humberside Police believe she may in the company of another teenager, Ellie Mae Giles, 15, who was last seen just a mile away on Caistor Drive on Monday morning.
Ellie Maeis described as 5ft 1in tall, of slim build with long light-brown hair. She was wearing black jeans, a white top and a red puffa-style jacket and black Nike trainers.
Lucy has been described as being 5’ft 3in tall of slim build, and was wearing similar clothing – black jeans, a red and black puffa-style jacket and white and black Nike trainers.
The pair could still be in North East Lincolnshire, however it is also thought that they may have travelled to the Skegness area.
A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for your help to locate missing teenager Ellie Mae Giles.
“Ellie Mae is 15 years-old and was last seen on Monday May 6 at 10.30am on Caistor Drive in Grimsby. She is 5ft 1in tall, of slim build with long light-brown hair. She was wearing black jeans, a white top and a red puffa-style jacket and black Nike trainers.

“Ellie Mae is thought to be in the company of another missing teenager Lucy Lea DeLatouche and we would ask for anyone who has seen either girl to contact us as a matter of urgency.
“The pair may still be in the North East Lincolnshire area however they may have travelled to Lincolnshire, specifically the Skegness area.
“If you see Ellie Mae Giles or Lucy Lea DelaTouche or know where they are, please call us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 203 07/05/19.”
