Women in leadership

A total of 73 BOV women successfully completed the Women in Leadership courses recently organised by Bank of Valletta. 

The two-day programme was designed exclusively for BOV women leaders of today and tomorrow. Its aim was to further enhance women’s skills and confidence to allow them to fully express their voice, authentic power and leadership ability. 

“At Bank of Valletta we simply believe in the power of women. Over half of our workforce is made of women. We believe that through such training programmes, which are aimed specifically at women, we can assist them in reaching their full potential, strengthening their natural traits and cultivate their own authentic style of leadership,” said Tania Camilleri from BOV’s Employee Development Unit. 

“We do not want our women to emulate men leaders, we want them to remain true to their competences because it is only through diversity of skills that our company can continue to grow and flourish. It is what makes us different,” Dr Camilleri added.
