Almost 300 Jersey City teachers receive layoff notices, so happy National Teacher Appreciation Week

Last week, the school district filed a lawsuit against the state which alleges that hundreds of millions planned in state funding cuts, to take place over the next six years, is unconstitutional and harmful to the students.
