Have we already lost
our republic to Russia?

We now have a president who is no different than any New York mob boss, but without the direction to “whack” someone. But there is someone else who is far worse: Mitch McConnell.

As leader of the Republican-held Senate, he has personally protected our rogue president and prevented any form of non-partisan dialogue. His undoing of many government norms has harmed our democracy. Are his actions the work of a traitor? That’s a lot to consider in one word. Will the 2020 elections solve our problems?

Bill Maher calls it a “slow-moving coup.” Is he right? Have we already lost our republic to Russia?

Voting has never been more critical. There are no more excuses if you are eligible to vote.
