New Love Island stars ‘training for two hours a day’ and ‘paying thousands for personal trainers’ to get bikini body ready

0

THIS year’s Love Island stars will be training for two hours a day and paying thousands for personal trainers to get bikini body ready for the show.

Former contestant Gabby Allen has lifted the lid on the prep people undergo in the lead up to going on the show – admitting the newbies will be “training like a b****” right about now.

Former Love Island star Gabby Allen has revealed the work that goes into Love Island bodies

She told the Daily Star:  “When people find out that they’re going on a national TV show I can tell you every single one is now training like a b**** to get in shape.

“A lot of people do have personal trainers and then really go on a health kick, because you’re going on TV so you want to feel confident that you look the best of yourself.

“That’s why I released the book because I want people to act as if they’re getting ready for Love Island.”

She added: “I think some contestants were in the gym with personal trainers about four times a week, but that’s quite expensive.”

The star suggested that they would be working out for up to 14 hours a week  – training for four days and running for the other three.

Gabby, who has just released Shape Up with Gabby Allen, was coupled up with Blazin’ Squad’s Marcel Sommerville on the show in 2017 but they split after he cheated on her once they left the villa.

The new series is expected to start next month and Caroline Flack has already met the cast.

She told fans last week: “What’s really exciting about this week is that we start filming for Love Island 2019.

“And by the end of the week I’m going to have potentially have seen the cast for this year, which is really exciting.

“And mad that’s it’s come around this quick! So I’ll let you know what happens. It’s going to be a long, hot summer and all that.”
