Katie Price set to resurrect her pop career by singing at funerals for £5,000 fee
FAILED pop star Katie Price is trying to nail a new line of work — singing at funerals.
The caterwauling crooner, 40, will hire herself out for £5,000, in what could be seen as a bid to resurrect her dying career.
A source told the Sun on Sunday: “She will happily pop along to a funeral and sing a couple of songs of choice.
“If she can put a smile on a few people’s faces, then why not?”
Model and mum of five Katie spent years trying to be top of the pops, with disastrous results.
In 2005 she attempted to represent the UK in the Eurovision song contest — while wearing a pink PVC catsuit and heavily pregnant.
In 2009 a non-auto-tuned version of her vocals in her duet with ex-husband Peter Andre were leaked.
Her wailing to A Whole New World went viral, with commentators comparing it to “fighting cats”.
Katie then released a single in 2010 called Free to Love Again, which limped in at No.60 in the charts.
And two years ago she sang new song I Got U live on Loose Women, only to be mocked again.
Afterwards she tweeted: “Enjoyed myself living my dream. I can’t win if I sing live or mime but I don’t care.”
She now makes money from personal appearances.

The source said: “Katie has an agreed price list for PAs, TV appearances and magazine shoots.
“But she realised she was missing a trick — she could perform at weddings, bar mitzvahs and funerals, too, so now they have been tacked on to her CV.”
Last night Katie’s team declined to comment.
