MIKE Thalassitis has been remembered in his restaurant with a touching collage of pictures showing him working on the venue before his death.
His close friend Montana Brown visited The Skillet again today and showed fans that Mike’s images now adorn the wall.
After brunch, she told her fans: “So so happy, all the food is bloody sensational.Thank you to all the support and efforts of everybody who has been to @theskillet_ already or helping out/ working there .
“I know it’s been hard with everything going on, but my god you’ve smashed it.
“Mike, you silly boy you’re not even here to see the success, so so so proud and didn’t expect anything less than what it is. Miss you x”
Love Island star Mike had been planning to open the venue with his friend and business partner Scott Neilson before he was found dead at the age of 26.
He had been excited about the project and the latest images show him hard at working making sure everything was perfect.
The restaurant officially opened last month and Montana told fans how proud she was of her late friend.
She said: “I thought I’d update everyone on the official launch of The Skillet. I went today and it was amazing, I can’t believe it. It’s all finally coming together, I wish Mike was here to see it.
“I’m so so proud of him. I can’t wait for you guys to get down there and get some grub. I’m going to be popping in tomorrow to meet a few of you and I can’t wait to see you down there.”

His business partner made the decision to still open it because he believe it is what Mike would have wanted.
Prior to the launch, he said: “Mike would’ve wanted this cafe to open, he spent everyday for the past couple of months working hard to make this place a success so we are pulling together to get this ready for everyone and especially for Mike.”
Mike’s cause of death was confirmed after he took his own life in a north London park.
