Last Sunday a special liaison team was said to be on hand to meet the young royals when they arrived with the Duchess of Sussex’s mother, Doria Ragland.
Harry drove them the 27 miles into central London from their Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor.
They were followed by a team of police bodyguards.
The couple had set aside plans to have a home birth, the first royal one in 55 years.
