Former chief minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday alleged that former Congress MLA Umesh V Jadhav was paid Rs 50 crore by the BJP to switch sides. “Jadhav was paid the highest amount. Each MLA was paid Rs 25 crore to Rs 30 crore, but Jadhav was given Rs 50 crore as he was going to contest against Mallikarjuna Kharge," Siddaramaiah said.
