[Women's Golf] UHV women close in on fifth at PGA event

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – The University of Houston-Victoria women's golf team cut 27 strokes off its opening round score Saturday but remain in sixth place going into Sunday's final round of the women's dividsion at the  33rd annual PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship at PGA of America.

The Jaguars posted a final-round 325 to finish their first 36 holes at 677, just two shots back of Hampton University (327), who began the day four shots up on the Jaguars.
