A 15-year-old girl has died after taking ecstasy in Yorkshire, prompting a police warning to anyone who has recently bought the drug in the area. The girl collapsed in a car park in Northallerton and police were alerted by a member of the public at 9.30pm on Saturday. The teenage was taken to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough, where she later died. "Police enquiries have found that the girl is believed to have taken MDMA and enquiries are ongoing to determine if the drug has led to the girl's death," a spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said. "Officers are issuing a warning to anyone who has purchased this drug recently to be cautious and aware of the potential consequences of taking the drug."
