Alejandro Aranda on ‘American Idol’: ‘Poison’ is his best song on season 17 so far
Alejandro Aranda is the frontrunner to win season 17 of “American Idol” based on the nine songs he has sung on the reality competition series so far. We wondered which of these was your favorite. Tops in our poll of viewers is “Poison,” the original tune that Alejandro performed on the Top 6 show on May 5.
His self-penned song registered a whopping 47% of the vote while his other number that evening, Jefferson Airplane‘s “White Rabbit,” netted just 6%. If you haven’t voted in our poll yet, be sure to do so at the bottom of this post and then sound off in our comments section with your thoughts on this reboot of “American Idol.”
In third and fourth place respectively are the two tunes Alejandro crooned at the start of his journey: the Coldplay hit “Yellow” and “I Fall Apart” by Post Malone with 20% and 12% respectively. Surprisingly, his other original song, “Cholo Love,” merited a mere 6% in our poll. Do you agree with these results?
