Mother’s Day 2019: Social media has been flooded with heart-warming posts of tribute to mothers on Sunday. Cricketing fraternity as well took time out to celebrate the occasion. Prominent names of the sport including the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Suresh Raina, and Harbhajan Singh wished their mothers.
In his post on Twitter, India’s “Master Blaster’ Sachin wrote that God could not be everywhere and hence the almighty created mothers. “Someone rightly said, “God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made Mothers,” he wrote. Other cricketers, Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh — ahead of their Chennai Super Kings’ side IPL final against Mumbai Indians — also sought blessings with tribute for their mothers.

Sachin will be backing Mumbai Indians later today when they take to the field against Chennai Super Kings at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. While Harbhajan and Raina will be donning the opposition jersey, also vying for their fourth and second consecutive title.
It has been a season to cherish for both the finalists with Mumbai finishing first and defending champions Chennai finishing second. They were the two best teams and now have a final task ahead of the forthcoming ICC Cricket World Cup, which will commence from May 30 onwards, hosted by England and Wales.
