New footage of the Syrian Army capturing Al-Shariah in northwestern Hama.

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) captured the town of Shari'ah on Saturday after a fierce battle with the jihadist rebels in northwestern Hama.

The operation was led by the Tiger Forces, who later managed to fracture the jihadist lines and impose full control over this town near the Idlib Governorate axis.

In addition to capturing Shari'ah, the Tiger Forces and their allies also seized four more towns to reach the southwestern countryside of the Idlib Governorate after nearly six days of battle.

With this axis under their control, the Syrian Army is now moving eastward towards the hilltop of Tal Sakher and the nearby town of Al-Hobeit.

The Syrian Army needs to capture Tal Sakher in order to prevent future attacks on the strategic town of Kafr Naboudeh, which was captured on last Wednesday.

Once these two areas are retaken, the first phase of the Syrian Arab Army's offensive will have concluded.
