More dead bodies, wounded militants shifted to Pakistan from Kandahar: Gen. Tadin Khan
At least thirteen militants were killed and 9 others were wounded during a clash with the security forces in southern Kandahar province.
Provincial Police Chief Gen. Tadin Khan Achakzai confirmed that the clash took place close to the residence of Nadir Khan, an Afghan Local Police Commander in Maruf district.
Gen. Tadin Khan further added that the militants were killed or wounded during a direct clash and the dead bodies of the militants along with the wounded individuals were shifted to the other side of Durand Line.
The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented regarding the casualties inflicted on group’s militants so far.
Gen. Tadin Khan had earlier warned that the militants refusing peace and reconciliation would be eliminated.
The latest clash takes place as the security situation in southern Kandahar province had improved comparatively during the recent years.
