Kieran Trippier has praised the resilience of his Tottenham Hotspur team-mates and the backroom staff after the club secured their place in the Champions League final for the first time in their history.

The right-back endured a tough first 45 minutes against Ajax on Tuesday night when he played a significant part in both of the Dutch side’s goals which saw them race to a 3-0 aggregate advantage.
