Teddy Sheringham gives his view on the Spurs v Liverpool Champions League final

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham has shared his thoughts ahead of the Champions League final.

Liverpool currently sit 24 points ahead of Spurs in the Premier League table, having also done the double over Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season.

The first defeat came at Wembley when the Reds ran out 2-1 winners in September, the return fixture at Anfield in was a more closely contested affair but they once again won by the same scoreline.

Sheringham, however who lifted the Champions League during his time at Manchester United believes that Liverpool’s league form will count for nothing when they meet Spurs in Madrid on June 1st.
