Pictured: Pub landlord’s wrecked Jaguar after crash with Nigel Farage’s 4×4
Nigel Farage has been branded a ‘terrible, terrible human being’ by a pub landlord who claims the former Ukip leader fled the scene after a head-on car crash.
Patrick Tranter, 38, was driving home with his 13-month-old son George when his Jaguar collided with Farage’s chauffeur-driven Range Rover on Thursday morning.
Pictures from the scene show the extent of the classic car’s damage following the incident.
The dad-of-one claimed Farage ‘upped and left’, while he and his son were rushed to hospital to have treatment for neck and shoulder injuries.
He slammed the Brexit Party leader for leaving, and said: ‘He didn’t even bother to see if we were OK.’
The MEP was on his way to appear on Question Time in Northampton at the time of the crash.
Farage now been barred from the George and Dragon pub, which Patrick owns and is just four miles from his home.

‘There’s no way he’ll be welcome back in my pub.
‘He’s a terrible, terrible human being.’
Patrick added that his car is now a ‘complete write off’, but he was grateful for Farage’s driver, who stopped and called the emergency services.

‘I ran out to see if my little boy was OK but Farage just got out of the car.
‘Farage just walked out of the car. God knows where as it was a country lane.
Farage has insisted he checked no-one was hurt and claimed Patrick was abusive to him.
He added: ‘Once I had ascertained that everyone was OK I made discreet withdrawal from the situation.
‘I didn’t think that me, with a rather a well-known face, going into that situation would have helped anything or anybody.’
He admitted he had visited the George and Dragon before but added: ‘If I’m banned then, it’s not too terrible is it?’
Police have confirmed they are not investigating any offences relating to the crash.
