Deepika Padukone Visits Rishi Kapoor And Neetu Kapoor in New York – Check Their Happy Photos

Actor Deepika Padukone visited Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in New York recently. The happy pictures of the actor posing with the parents of actor Ranbir Kapoor have been surfacing on the internet since morning. A pretty Deepika is seen flashing her dimpled smile with the two veteran actors. The photos were first uploaded on Instagram by Neetu Kapoor as she revealed that Deepika came to see Rishi Kapoor, who has been recuperating from cancer.

The caption on Neetu’s post read, “Such a fun evening with adorable @deepikapadukone .. gave lot of love n warmth ” (sic)

This is the first time Deepika visited the Kapoors in New York. The actor had dated their son, Ranbir Kapoor in the past. In fact, rumours always suggested that the Padmaavat star never shared a cordial bond with Ranbir’s mother. In her previous interviews, Neetu had explained how she didn’t like ‘certain’ girlfriend of Ranbir. Even though she didn’t take any name, it was reported that Neetu always disapproved of Deepika as her son’s girlfriend. However, seems like there was no truth to the reports considering both Neetu and Rishi look all happy posing with DP.

Meanwhile, Rishi recently announced that he has been declared cancer free now. The actor made a statement in the media and revealed that he needs to be in New York for a few more months to complete his treatment but the major battle is over. His statement to Deccan Chronicle read, “My eighth month of treatment started on May 1 in the US. But God has been kind! I am in remission, meaning now I am cancer-free.” He also thanked his wife for being there in the difficult times. Rishi added, “Neetu has stood by me like a rock. Otherwise, I am too difficult a person to handle as far as food and drink are concerned.”
