Man City name the superstar they will sell to sign highly-rated Portuguese forward this summer

- Joao Felix has emerged top transfer target for Manchester City this summer

- The Portugal international became the second teenager to score hat-trick in an Europa League match after Sergio Aguero

- City are now ready to sell Gabriel Jesus in a bid to land the highly rated Benfica star at the end of this season

Manchester City are reportedly considering to offload Gabriel Jesus in a bid to sign Portugal sensation Joao Felix this summer.

The 19-year-old became the first teenager, after Sergio Aguero (for Atletico Madrid against Kayseri Erciyesspor in October 2007) to score a hat-trick in the Europa League.

He scored three times for Benfica in their quarterfinal first leg meeting against Eintracht Frankfurt last month but crashed out on away goals rule after playing 4-4 aggregate draw.

His performances for his Portuguese League side has attracted interests from top European clubs including Real Madrid, Manchester City and Juventus.

However, SunSport reports that the £100 million-rated youngster has been over-priced, despite his superb display in Europe this term.

The publication claims Benfica increased Felix's release clause to chase off top European clubs, but City are unfazed by the player's price tag.

Felix has been likened to Dutch great Johan Cruyff and has also been tipped as "heir to Cristiano Ronaldo's throne" after a scintillating season at Benfica.

Gabriel Jesus on the other hand has scored 16 goals and three assists in all competitions for City despite coming off the bench most of the matches.

Regardless, the Citizens are still willing to let him go and allow the Portugal international join the EPL side this summer.

Meanwhile, Benfica are said to be in the process of increasing Felix's release fee to closer to £180m now, as he's chased by some of Europe's richest.

Having scored 16 times in just 31 appearances, including a hat-trick in the 4-2 Europa League win over Eintracht Frankfurt, it's easy to see why.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Portuguese whizkid Joao Felix is close to sealing a move to Manchester City in a £105 million deal this summer.

The 19-year-old has been in hot form for his Primera Liga side this campaign, scoring ten goals and four assists in 18 league games.

SunSport reports that the attacker has also attracted interests from Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus due to his recent form.
