Ganduje is ready to present staff-of-office to new emirs - Kano commissioner
The commissioner of information in Kano, Malam Muhammad Garba, has disclosed Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje's next line of action in his new approved emirates creation in the state.
Daily Trust reports that Ganduje is making moves to present staff-of-office to four newly appointed emirs of Gaya, Rano, Karaye and Bichi emirates.
The emirs are Alhaji Tafida Abubakar Ila (Rano), Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulkadir Gaya (Gaya), Dr Ibrahim Abubakar ll (Karaye) and Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero (Bichi).

Garba said: “The governor and his entourage are set to proceed to two out of the four new emirates to present the staff-of-office to the new emirs today.
''And tomorrow Monday, he will lead the entourage to the two remaining emirates to present the staff-of-office to their respective emirs.”
Recall that Legit.ng reported that some heavily armed policemen were reportedly deployed to the palace of the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, and the residents of some senior council members of the Kano Emirate.
About 10 police Hilux Vans with security personnel were stationed at the emir’s palace at Kofar Kudu, while another 10 patrol vehicles were deployed to the personal residence of chief of staff to the emir of Kano along Iyaka road.

Report further claimed that additional deployment of policemen were stationed at the residence of another aide of the emir, the incumbent Galadiman Kano, Alhaji Abbas Sanusi, while the main entrance of Kano state government house was also guarded by security officials.
