Britain’s Got Talent magician Ben Hart had previously said ‘no way’ to appearing on the ITV talent show

MAGICIAN Ben Hart’s vanishing act earned him  four “yes” votes from the Britain’s Got Talent judges on Saturday night  – and he may be hoping he can use it on a set of awkward quotes he gave to The Sun in 2015.

Ben was promoting his BBC Three series Killer Magic back then, when he slated the ITV talent show. He said: “BGT rings every year and every year I say, ‘No way.’ If they buzz you too early, you’re devaluing your product.

“The producers have in their heads the outcome they want, so they either secretly like you or hate you. It’s a big risk.”

A source close to the show said: “Ben feels a bit silly since the quotes have come out and has spoken to bosses about them. He’s riding on the buzz of Saturday night and is focusing on making Britain’s Got Talent a success.”

Ben told The Sun: “It’s always nerve-racking doing a show where the judges decide if you are through or not.

Luckily my audition went well and I am very grateful for BGT for allowing me to share my magic with everyone.”

He’ll just have to take more care with what he says or he’ll disappear off BGT completely
