O Canada! 58% of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ fans think Brooke Lynn Hytes should win, but what about Miss Vanjie? [POLL RESULTS]
Gold Derby recently asked “RuPaul’s Drag Race” fans to name the queen they think SHOULD win Season 11, and things are looking good for our neighbor to the north. Toronto, Canada native Brooke Lynn Hytes easily tops our poll with 58% of the vote, with Denver, Colorado resident Yvie Oddly far behind in second place with 18%. Rounding out the poll results, eliminated queen Nina West is next at 14%, followed by A’Keria C. Davenport at 5%, Vanessa “Miss Vanjie” Mateo at 4% and Silky Nutmeg Ganache at 1%.

Following Thursday’s Top 6 episode, titled “Bring Back My Queens,” Brooke Lynn is now the only contestant to win three main challenges. To compare, A’Keria and Silky (plus Nina before her ouster) have each won twice, Yvie has won once and Miss Vanjie is still waiting for a victory.
Brooke Lynn won the first main challenge of Season 11, which asked the queens to design signature looks from leftover materials belonging to “Drag Race” legends. She later prevailed in the Halloween-themed week that tasked the queens with creating three looks: Trampy Trick or Treater, Witch Please and MILF Eleganza. This week’s challenge asked the contestants to transform the eliminated queens into their drag family members, with Brooke Lynn claiming victory thanks to her makeover of Plastique Tiara.
Much of Brooke Lynn’s storyline this season has focused around her showmance with Miss Vanjie, the fan-favorite viral queen from Season 10. “Me and Vanjie have a crush on each other, and we’ll see where it goes,” Brooke Lynn said about her workroom fling before adding, “We’re here for a competition. It’s not personal, it’s drag.” In this week’s episode the lovebirds were actually the top two queens, with many of their competitors thinking Miss Vanjie would win her first challenge. Instead, Brooke Lynn won her third.
