Spurs fan tackled to ground by stewards after running on pitch during Everton draw
A TOTTENHAM fan ran on the pitch during the 2-2 draw with Everton a month after the club handed out their new stadium’s first life-time ban for the same behaviour.
The idiotic supporter was rugby-tackled to the ground by stewards at the start of the second-half in the second incident at the new White Hart Lane.
Last month, the North London side faced charges from Uefa after another fan launched themselves on the pitch during the Champions League tie with Man City.
The pitch invader was handed the first life-time ban for confronting Fabian Delph after being given a stern talking-to from Mauricio Pochettino.
The latest incident failed to sour proceedings this time however, with Christian Eriksen’s late free-kick securing a share of the spoils for the Champions League finalists.
However, the debacle capped off a season that threatened to be marred by a spate of pitch invasions that saw Jack Grealish attacked in Aston Villa’s derby with Birmingham.
FAN BAN
Three teenagers were arrested after two pitch invasions during City’s 3-2 FA Cup win over Swansea on the same day seven Newcastle fans were also detained at Bournemouth.
Tyson Fury’s cousin stormed the Emirates pitch and shoved Chris Smalling during Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Man Utd hours later.
An Aston Villa fan then charged on to the grass during their 3-1 win away to Nottingham Forest after Kourtney Hause netted his first goal for the club.
And, a West Ham fan was also guilty of encroaching the field of play after the Hammers masterminded an incredible comeback at home to win 4-3 against Huddersfield.

Pochettino had little to say on the latest pitch invader, instead urging his side to “write history” in the Champions League final against Liverpool.
He said: “I think we can make history. We are creating history because we are making it, but if we can win we will write history and change the perception of this amazing club.
“Of course the club and the fans and we all deserve to be focused on the way and how we can win the final. That is the principle objective, there’s not another objective.”
