DAVID Walliams wants to join Celebrity X Factor to “kill” the ITV singing competition.
The 47-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge, who was celebrating after the series won the Entertainment Programme prize at the Bafta Awards, said he hoped to appear on Simon Cowell’s competition later this year.

David explained: “If I can kill that format forever by appearing on it, I’d very much like to.
“I’ve mentioned it to him [Simon]. I cannot sing a note so I’d fit in very well. It would be fun.
“I don’t know if it’s going to happen but I’d love to. I’ve always loved it.
“I would love to be on that stage doing a duet with Wagner.”

David’s Britain’s Got Talent co-judge Amanda Holden is said to be of interest to X Factor producers to star in the upcoming talent show.
