TV Baftas 2019: This Country Star Daisy May Cooper's Dress Is Quite Literally Trash
On a night like the TV Baftas, picking an outfit must be a ridiculously difficult task.
So props then to This Country star Daisy May Cooper who turned up wearing this:
Yep, that is a dress that’s quite literally trash.
The actor, who plays Kerry Mucklowe in the hit BBC Three sitcom, shunned traditional red carpet glamour as she arrived at the ceremony on Sunday night.
Wearing a dress made of black bin sacks, she completed the look with a long train made out of actual rubbish, complete with a bin lid and pigeon atop her head.
A look Lady Gaga would be jealous of, we’re sure you’ll agree.
And her look caused quite the stir on the red carpet, with our favourite reaction coming from former Goggleboxer Scarlett Moffatt.
The dress was made by Daisy’s mum, and what’s more, she donated what she would have spent on a posh frock to her local food bank.
What a hero.
