Melissa McCarthy Is Replacing Steve Harvey on 'Little Big Shots'
Melissa McCarthy is taking over for Steve Harvey.
The 48-year-old Spy star will be hosting the upcoming season of Little Big Shots, People confirmed on Sunday (May 12).
“Melissa’s just an incredible performer and incredible comedian…[she] will bring a completely fresh perspective to it.” said NBC exec Paul Telegdy.
“Melissa is a strong creative force with her own ideas. Changes will be apparent.”
Steve hosted the variety TV show for its first three seasons.
The show will start airing again on Sundays at 8 p.m. after the end of football season next winter.
In addition, Steve‘s daytime talk show, Steve, is being canceled after seven years on the network. NBC will air Kelly Clarkson‘s new daytime show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, in its place.
