The talented actress just bagged her first Bafta TV award for portrayal as Villanelle and she’s got a whole heap of project on the way. Here’s what we know about Jodie.

What TV Bafta has Jodie Comer won?
The actress was up for one gong at the TV Baftas and she won it!
She beat out competition from her co-star Sandra Oh and Bodyguard’s Keeley Hawed to bag Best Leading Actress for her role in Killing Eve.
The show also managed to win best Drama Series and saw Fiona Shaw walk away with best Supporting Actress.
The second series of the hit show will air on BBC One later this year.
Who is Jodie Comer, how old is she and what is she known for?
Jodie Comer is a 26-year-old British actress and was born on March 11, 1993.
Hailing from Liverpool, she won a radio play part at a young age – before getting a guest role in medical spin-off drama The Royal Today.
This led to multiple parts in soaps and crime dramas including Casualty, Vera and Silent Witness.
More major work came with the two drama series Justice and Remember Me, before she landed her best-known role as Chloe Gemell in My Mad Fat Diary, the comedy series on E4.
What else has the Killing Eve actress starred in?
A 2015 version of Lady Chatterley’s Lover brought her first taste of original BBC drama, before she landed a lead role in Thirteen, about a girl who reappears after being abducted thirteen years previously.
In 2016 she also began playing villainous “other woman” Kate Parks, a university graduate, in Doctor Foster, opposite Suranne Jones and Bertie Carvel.
The following year she appeared as Elizabeth of York in The White Princess, a sequel to BBC series The White Queen.

When is Killing Eve season 2 set to be released?
Killing Eve will be back on our screens in Summer 2019.
An exact UK air date has not yet been confirmed but series two is returned to the US on April 8 on BBC America.
The series will then shortly be available to watch on BBC Three.
For series one there was a six-month wait between the episodes airing in the US and the UK but the BBC’s director of content Charlotte Moore has said that fans will “not have to wait so long next time.”
