BBC Tries to ‘Shapiro’ Nigel Farage, Gets Ruined.
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) – the publicly funded outfit which routinely uses its £5bn ($6.5bn) budget to target conservatives and anti-establishment figures – attempted on Sunday morning to derail Nigel Farage and his Brexit Party as figures suggest the group is heading for major electoral victories both domestic and at the European Parliamentary level.
Sunday morning show host Andrew Marr grilled Farage on global warming, gun ownership, trains, HIV, and Vladimir Putin. He spent little time on Brexit and the European Parliamentary elections: the topic of the day.
But Marr was left downtrodden and dumbfounded after Farage repeatedly blasted his line of questioning and refused to be drawn on out of context comments made years ago.
One example of the BBC’s outright bias shone through when Marr asked Farage, “Do you still admire Vladimir Putin?”
The broadcaster was forced to admit, within seconds, that Farage had actually said he didn’t admire Putin as a man, but rather was remarking on his ability to operate a relatively small country in terms of Russia’s economy, on a geopolitical level.
“This is absolutely ludicrous, I’ve never in my life seen a more ridiculous interview than this. You are not prepared to talk about what is going on in this country today. You’re in denial. The BBC’s in denial. The Tory and Labour Parties are in denial.”

“What is wrong with the BBC?” asked Farage, whose Brexit Party is now polling ahead of both the Labour and Conservatives combined. The Brexit Party is now reportedly beating the Conservative Party at the national level, too, according to a Telegraph poll today.
Earlier this week the BBC’s internal Conservative Party liaison, Andrew Neil, attempted a similar interview with the Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro. Shapiro admitted the BBC man got the better of him, though the history of Neil and his hatred for conservatism was not told before Human Events reported on the matter this week.
