Man shot in knee in East Oakland shooting Sunday afternoon
OAKLAND — A man was shot in the knee Sunday afternoon in the city’s South Stonehurst neighborhood, police said.
Officers found the injured man after responding around 3:30 p.m. to the 10700 block of Russet Street to investigate reports of a shooting.
The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Officers had no motive or suspects in custody. For information leading to the arrest of a suspect, police are offering up to $5,000 in the shooting. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3426 or Crime Stoppers of Oakland at 510-777-8572.
