Sausage dog ditches meat as she just can’t get enough of vegan sausages

HONEY is a sausage dog who’s hot for sausages — as long as they’re vegan.

Owner Olivia Moore, 25, was shocked when she dropped one on the floor and Honey jumped at the tasty treat.

The one-time meat fan was an instant convert — and when Olivia cooks up a batch, Honey begs for more of her fave food.

Olivia, of Bedale, North Yorks, once left a plate of them on a table. Honey smelt them, ran in and downed the lot.

She said: “Her coat has started looking really glossy since she developed a taste for vegan food. Ever since she’s been after more and even managed to steal some from the table, which is quite impressive when your legs are as short as Honey’s.”

Guess she no longer turns her nose up at veggie tables.
