[Women's Golf] UHV women finish fourth at PGA WORKS

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – Saving their best round of the year for last Sunday, the University of Houston-Victoria women's golf team jumped two teams to finish fourth at the 33rd annual PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship at the PGA of America's Ryder Course.

The Jaguars cut nine shots off their second round score to post a blazing 316 score to record a 54-hole total 993 jumping past Hampton University and Savannah State. Hampton, who was two shot in front of the Jaguars, withdrew from the final round, while Jaguars overcame a 26-shot deficit to pass Savannah State.
