Former vice-president Binay to file complaint as VCM coughs out ballot 8 times

VICE President Jejomar Binay on Monday said he would file a complaint before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) after the vote counting machine (VCM) in his precinct in Makati City coughed out his ballot eight times.

“I am angry. I am very very angry!” Binay told reporters.

Poll officers said the error was most probably caused by a paper jam, but would still be investigating the incident.

Binay said he would be voting for his daughter and runningmate reelectionist Mayor Abigail “Abby” Binay while his wife and former Makati mayor Elenita Binay would be voting for son, Jejomar Erwin “Junjun.” NEIL JAYSON N. SERVALLOS
