1985 Schwinn Le Tour Luxe
Hi all!
Ive only ever bought myself brand new cheapie bikes, and have decided this time around Id like something with some character and history. I came across a 1985 Le Tour Luxe on Craigslist in Austin listed at $100 (easy to find!) that appears to have been in great shape and is a beaut, until a crash. Per the seller: drop bars need recentered, new calipers, plus a couple cosmetic issues.
Is it possible there is too much structural damage to make this buy worth it? (Keep in mind I am in no way experienced so it isnt necessarily a case of hobby-worth.)
Thanks!!
