Mosta woman shot dead
Murder victim Mary Cardona may have known her killer, police sources revealed. Cardona, 41, was shot dead in her Mosta house just two hours after seeing her children off to school.

Mrs Cardona’s body was found on her bedroom floor at around 10.30am with two gunshot wounds in her chest. But neighbours told The Times they did not hear any suspicious noises from the house in 150, Hope Street.
Her coach driver husband Emanuel was still being interviewed at length by the police last night. He is not being considered as a suspect.
