ESPN pundit urges Arsenal to sign 25-year-old midfielder
Arsenal have been urged to consider making a summer move to sign Ryan Fraser from Bournemouth by former goalkeeper Shaka Hislop.
The north London side are bound to be linked with a host of players in the forthcoming summer transfer window as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of Unai Emery’s second campaign in charge.
Fraser has been in fine form for Bournemouth this season, with the 25-year-old Scot having scored seven goals and made 14 assists in the Premier League.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will actually make a move for the midfielder this summer as Emery assesses his options ahead of the summer transfer window.
However, former goalkeeper and ESPN pundit Hislop seems to think that Fraser would be a great addition to the Arsenal side this summer.
Speaking to ESPN FC, Hislop said: “I don’t think he’d cost an awful lot. I don’t think he’d be in that £40m bracket. I think Arsenal can get him at a reasonable price.
“When you consider the company he’s in, only Eden Hazard has more assists than Fraser in the Premier League this season.
“I’d take a chance on him at the right price.”
Arsenal are now beginning their preparations for their Europa League final showdown against Chelsea FC on 29 May in Baku as they aim to win the trophy.
The north London side will be aiming to finish the campaign on a high before turning their attentions towards the summer transfer window ahead of Emery’s second season in charge at The Emirates.
