Manila police to reroute traffic for transfer of ballot boxes to sports complex
THE Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit (MDTEU) will reroute traffic in the city for the transfer to and staging of ballot boxes and canvassing of votes at the San Andres Sports Complex at the closing of polling precincts.
Starting at 6 p.m., the following roads will be closed:
-Stretch of San Andres Street from Adriatico Street to LM Guerrero Street, Malate, Manila.
-Stretch of Leveriza Street from Quirino Avenue to San Andres Street, Malate, Manila.
Motorists are advised to take the following routes:
-If coming from Roxas Blvd. using San Andres Street, motorists shall turn right to Adriatico Street to point of destination.
-If coming from Taft Ave or Quirino Avenue utilizing San Andres Street, motorists shall turn right to LM Guerrero Street to point of destination.
-If motorists are bound for San Andres Street, motorists shall turn left or right to Quirino Avenue to point of destination. CATHERINE A. MODESTO
