Memorial for 1983 Beirut bombing set for Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A memorial for the U.S. Marines killed in the 1983 bombing of a barracks in Beirut is being planned for Jacksonville.

The Florida Times-Union reports that the Semper Fidelis Society wants to install the memorial at the city's Evergreen Cemetery.
