IPL 2019: The celebrations went on till late in the night after Mumbai Indians clinched their record fourth IPL title. Mumbai beat Chennai in a last-ball thriller by a run in an high-tense clash. After the game and the celebrations on-the-field, the Mumbai boys hit the dance floor where the party continued. Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh were spotted grooving to popular Bollywood film ‘Gulyboy’ songs. Rohit and Yuvraj looked in high spirits as Hitman also tried to rap. Mumbai Indians posted the video of the Mumbai Indians after-party after the win and captioned it as, “Asli Hitman se milaaye Hindustan ko!”

Meanwhile, it was Mumbai’s fourth win over Chennai this season, which in itself is a massive feat.

After the win, Rohit Sharma, in a candid interview with wife Ritika, opened up about the journey and described the ‘special’ feeling of becoming the champions in front of daughter Samaira.

“It is special. Not just Samaira but you (addressing his wife, Ritika) also. Yes, (winning in front of) Samaira because this is her first IPL and she came for most of the games. I’m very happy,” Rohit said replying to Ritika, who asked him how he felt about winning the fourth title in front of Samaira in an IPL video.

It was a low-scoring affair in which Lasith Malinga emerged as the last over hero for Mumbai.
