Game of Thrones fans can now be given £100 if family or friends SPOIL the show
WHAT do we say to the God of Spoilers? Not Today…
The final series of the biggest show on earth, Game of Thrones, is currently airing which makes Monday morning a social media minefield for TV addicts.
The drama is watched by millions worldwide but is released in America first meaning UK lovers risk seeing the overwhelming reactions online to the latest twists and turns.
Even for fans who stay off Twitter, friends or family who stayed up to watch Sky’s early screening at 2am on Monday morning may accidentally leak a major plot point.
However, just ahead of the show’s highly-anticipated finale, one company is set to compensate TV buffs by offering the UK’s first ever “spoiler insurance”.
The bizarre new policy will help appease disgruntled fans that have had plotlines ruined by awarding them up to £100 pay-outs and Now TV passes to soften the blow.
If we receive a good response then we might even roll the policy out for other popular TV shows – next up, Love Island!

Claimants only have to submit in 100 words detailing how the show was ruined for them to Endsleigh Insurance Services and spoiler doesn’t even have to be recent.
Despite entering its final year, Game of Thrones continues to attract hundreds of new fans all the time and those people can still be rewarded for having the current series ruined when they are still beginning season six.
The policy is the first of its kind in the UK but if it receives a good response, the company have pledged to do the same for Love Island this summer!
Julia Alpan, head of marketing at Endsleigh, said: “Game of Thrones is one of the biggest shows of the last decade and the last few episodes promise to bring in some of the largest audiences on record.
“With the show historically airing on US screens ahead of the UK, spoilers have always been an issue – so we wanted to address that head-on with the first ever spoiler insurance policy, that will offer financial compensation for anyone whose day is ruined by an unwanted plot reveal.

“This is the first time we’ve launched a spoiler insurance offering, but if we receive a good response then we might even roll the policy out for other popular TV shows – next up, Love Island!”
