Kerry Katona reveals she’s landed an acting role in ‘gritty drama’
KERRY Katona is set to star in a brand new “gritty drama”.
The 38 year old has swapped her music career for a role in front of the camera as she is tipped to play a mother to two boys in her latest venture.
Kerry shared a picture of her alongside her co-stars Jack Willis, and Lucca Warwick, as well as a post Warwick Management shared on her own Instagram account.
She captioned the post: “@warwickmanagement very excited to get cracking with this!! #acting #actress #castme @jackleowillis @lucca.warwick.”
While the original post from the management team read: “Our actors @kerrykatona7 @jackleowillis @lucca.warwick will be out filming soon for something really exciting. Kerry is playing mum to these two boys . She is incredible and so is Jack and Lucca . It’s going to be really raw northern gritty Drama. Can’t wait ! The company also shared a couple of behind the scenes images of Kerry – who has children Molly, Lily-Sue, Maxwell and Heidi – in action.

Kerry has continued to update her fans about her latest project.
A separate image of her cuddling up to her child read: “After a full on day of filming I’m back where I feel best … being a mummy and having cuddle time and all set for movie night.”

However, this will not be Kerry’s first time on the small screen as she recently took part on Celebs Go Dating in a bid to find love.
Although Kerry has not starred in a drama before she has a lot of acting experience under her belt, as she recently played the wicked step sister in a theatre production of Cinderella.
