Mothers’ Day: Mercy Aigbe celebrates for playing role of father and mother to her kids for almost 18-years

Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has shared photos of herself and her children on social media as she celebrates Mothers' Day. The actress chose to show herself some self-love on the special day meant for mothers.

On Sunday, May 12, the actress celebrated herself for taking up the role of both mother and father for almost eighteen years.

The 41-year-old actress said that it takes a certain kind of woman such as herself to take on the role of father and mother to her kids. She also noted that everything she has done has been with God's grace.

She said: "It’s takes only a Bad @ss mom to be both father and mother. Almost 18 years now and it has been nothing but God’s amazing grace!... I miss you."

In another post, Aigbe further expressed that she is proud of many things but nothing beats being a mother to her children.

Aigbe said: "I am proud of many things in my life! But nothing beats being a Mom."
