Diana Penty’s Cannes Film Festival Debut Sets Fans Speculating About Her Look
Celebrities worldwide are gearing to slay in their extraordinary look as they walk down the red carpet at Cannes International Film Festival this year which will be held from May 14 to May 25. While every invitee is working hard to add drama and essence to their eyeball-grabbing look, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi star Diana Penty can’t contain her excitement on debuting at the prestigious event.
This year, along with Bollywood actresses Kangana Ranaut and Huma Qureshi, Diana will be seen at the Cannes red carpet as part of an association with vodka brand Grey Goose. Through its new global platform, Live Victoriously, the brand is celebrating victories of Indian cinematic talent. In an interview with IANS, Diana revealed, “India has seen great recognition and appreciation at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in recent years. I am excited to be invited by the brand to be part of the event this year and I look forward to celebrating the experience with the global icon of luxury in the country of its origin.”
Speaking about roping in the actress and heaping praises on her, Marketing Head of Bacardi India, Anshuman Goenka said, “It is a pleasure to have an absolutely charming and skilled actress like Diana Penty debut at the Cannes Film Festival with our brand. Diana has carved a niche for herself with her impressive performances. While the news of her debut has evidently come as a sweet surprise for fans, they are waiting on the hook to know and can’t help speculating the look that their favourite star will be donning on the red carpet.
For the uninitiated, Diana was a successful model before making a career in Bollywood. In an earlier interview, Diana credited her modeling career and said, “I am where I am today because of my modeling career and that’s something I will always be grateful for. It was through the various magazine covers and TV commercials I was doing at the time that I was spotted and offered my first film, Cocktail.”
Diana made her comeback to Bollywood with the 2016 film Happy Bhag Jayegi. She was then seen in Lucknow Central. Recently, Diana shared screen space with John Abraham in Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran and Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi with Sonakshi Sinha.
