Ramadan 2019 Fitrana fixed at Rs 100 per Head, Mufti Muneebur Rehman Announced

ISLAMABAD: The chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan, Mufti Muneebur Rehman has announced that the minimum amount of fitrana for one person for Ramadan 2019 is Rs 100.

While talking to APP, he stated the details that the amount of Sadqa-e-Fitr is equal to 2.25 kg flour. So, the amount of Fitrana calculated according to 2.25 KG flour is Rs 100 per head.

The Muslims who want to pay Fitrana equal to the price of raisins, barley and dates need to pay Rs 2940, Rs 400, and Rs 1920 per head respectively.

A Muslim who has excessive food beyond his needs should pay Sadqa-e-Fitr before offering Eid Prayer. The guardian should pay Sadqa-e-Fitr for his wife, children, and other dependents.

Mufti Muneebur Rehman also advised the Muslims to pay the amount of Fitrana to the poor and deserving people. The most deserving people include close relatives, neighbors and the poor in your locality.
