Isko Moreno ahead in Manila mayoralty race

FRANCISCO “Isko Moreno” Domagoso is leading in the partial and unofficial tally of the Manila mayoralty race, according to the transparency server data of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Domagoso has 328,031 votes as of posting time.

Incumbent Mayor Joseph Estrada came in second with 191,992 votes.

Alfredo Lim is in third with 126,644.

Honey Lacuna, Domago’s running mate under the Asenso Manileño party, is also ahead in the initial results of the vice mayoral race.

Amado Bagatsing is second with 246,461.

Of the 1502 clustered precincts in Manila, 1360 have transmitted their election returns.

There are a total of 1,065,149 registered voters in Manila but the number of those who actually voted is 656,419.

This reflects 1,389 of the 1,502 precincts in Manila. CATHERINE A. MODESTO
