EastEnders spoilers: Kat and Stacey Slater go to war as the family is driven apart by vicious feud
KAT and Stacey Slater are going to war in EastEnders – with each other.
The cousins – who are played by actresses Jessie Wallace and Lacey Turner in the BBC soap – will be left at each other’s throats over the coming months.
It is not yet known what causes the feud but with Kat beginning a romance with the father of Stacey’s son Arthur, Kush Kazemi, this could spark a huge row in the family.
EastEnders boss Jon Sen told the Metro: “The Slaters haven’t had an easy ride over the past few weeks but the drama doesn’t stop there – when loyalties are tested, Kat and Stacey go to war, giving fans another chance to enjoy Jessie Wallace and Lacey Turner at their finest.”
Lacey will be going on maternity leave later this year and this could give a hint to how she is written out of the soap.
She is expecting her first child with husband Matt Kay.
But on-screen while the family feuds, Stacey’s mum Jean could bring them back together as her cancer battle continues.
She has been fighting Ovarian cancer in the heartbreaking plot that has seen her struggle with her mental health issues at the same time.
As The Sun Online revealed over the weekend, comedian Adrian Edmondson is joining the soap as a man who will put a smile on Jean’s face amid the drama.
Jon added: “Jean’s story will continue into the summer with Gillian Wright continuing to give a heartbreaking portrayal of a woman coping with the physical and mental reality of living with cancer.

“But Jean may soon have a reason to smile in the form of straight-talking Daniel, played by the wonderful Adrian Edmondson.”
