Game Of Thrones’ Maisie Williams jokes Arya Stark needs a ‘happy place’ after episode 5 carnage
GAME of Thrones actress Maisie Williams has admitted that Arya Stark needs a “happy place” after tonight’s episode.
Season 8 episode 5 ‘The Bells’ will air tonight in the UK and will see the Night King slayer head to King’s Landing to murder Cersei.
But as Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) blasts the Red Keep with dragonfire, the young assassin has a change of heart.
On the advice of Sandor Clegane (Rory McCann) Arya heads back into the streets of King’s Landing – witnessing the horror of thousands of innocent men, women and children being burned to death.
One particularly harrowing moment sees Arya witness the death of a small girl in the arms of her mother.
“Arya gonna need a happy place after that f***ing dramaaaaaaaa,” she tweeted.
Meanwhile, the trailer for the final episode of Game of Thrones has revealed a surprising twist.
Fans of the fantasy epic have long hoped for a final showdown with Daenerys Targaryen fighting for the Iron Throne – but in the aftermath of the fiery Last Battle everything has changed.
Season 8 episode 5 ‘The Bells’ saw The Dragon Queen (Emilia Clarke) burn King’s Landing to the ground – killing thousands of innocent men, women and children.
Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) could only look on in horror as the Breaker of Chains turned Mad Queen.
Now a short teaser for episode 6 shows Daenerys walking through the burned ruins of King’s Landing.
Meanwhile, her army, Tyrion and Arya look on.
Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys, previously said that the last ever episode is bound to leave some fans disappointed.
“People will scream and people will say, ‘That’s exactly what I wanted’,” she said.
“And some people will go, ‘Huh?’ – my mum, probably.”
