Danniella Westbrook taken off Loose Women after Jeremy Kyle show is suspended
DANNIELLA Westbrook has claimed she was taken off today’s Loose Women – hours after The Jeremy Kyle Show was suspended indefinitely.
Danniella, 45, had filmed a celebrity special of Jeremy’s show – and it was supposed to air tomorrow.
But after ITV made the call not to air today’s episode, and halt showing any other episodes, Westbrook was told she could no longer appear on Loose Women.
She wrote on Twitte: “SO @loosewomen NOW CANCELED Me TOMORROW DUE TO @ITVJeremyKyle BEING TAKEN OFF AIR I DEFINITELY.. So will catch up with you all soon”.
Trailers for Danniella’s appearance on Loose Women had been airing on ITV all morning.
The former EastEnders star was returning to the Jeremy Kyle Show to peak about her recovery from addiction in a “heartbreaking” episode after the programme paid for her to go to rehab.
On Sunday night, she tweeted: “Also I shall be on @ITVJeremyKyle first thing tomorrow it’s a heartbreaking show but with a happy ending I seriously didn’t realise just how riddled with the illness of addiction I was .. But tune in & feel free to watch me on @loosewomen tomorrow also”.
Former X Factor star Christopher Maloney was also due to appear in the celebrity edition of the show.
Today’s Jezza was pulled off air and the show suspended indefinitely after a guest died shortly after filming.
Bosses at ITV today told The Sun the episode will never be screened and filming on future episodes has been halted pending an internal review.
Bosses hastily rescheduled an episode of Dickinson’s Real Deal in the show’s usual slot on Monday morning and are frantically rearranging their plans for the coming weeks.
One TV insider put it: “It’s everyone’s worst nightmare and something that is taken extremely seriously by all involved.
“Jeremy and the team are very proud of the show and the aftercare which guests receive and in 14 years on air there has never been an incident like this.
“It’s very saddening, but of course everyone understands that an investigation needs to take place before any more decisions can be taken about the future.”

A spokeswoman said: “Everyone at ITV and The Jeremy Kyle Show is shocked and saddened at the news of the death of a participant in the show a week after the recording of the episode they featured in and our thoughts are with their family and friends.
“ITV will not screen the episode in which they featured.
“Given the seriousness of this event, ITV has also decided to suspend both filming and broadcasting of The Jeremy Kyle Show with immediate effect in order to give it time to conduct a review of this episode of the show.”
The show’s back catalogue has also been pulled from the ITV Hub.
