Watch: Arsenal fan chooses Europa League defeat for his side to sacrifice any Spurs glory

An Arsenal fan who is known among the football vlogging community has made a bold claim ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League final.

Spurs booked their place in the final of European football’s most prestigious club competition with a spirited comeback against Ajax last Tuesday night to set up a showdown with Liverpool in Madrid on June 1st.

While Spurs will be looking to become champions of Europe for the first time in their history, Arsenal will face Chelsea in the final of the Europa League.

Arsenal finished fifth in the Premier League table and can only achieve Champions League football next season if they win their final, otherwise they will be condemned to yet more Thursday night football.

Arsenal supporter ‘DT’ has claimed on AFTV that he would rather lose the Europa League final if it meant that Liverpool beat Spurs.
